Jason Becker is a musician. “I have played drums since the age of 10. I also play guitar, bass and a little piano. While I enjoy all styles of music, my real love is jazz.” Jason Becker is a winemaker. He graduated from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo with a B.S. in wine and viticulture and a B.S. in agricultural business. “During college I worked at Picchetti Winery and Byington Winery in the Santa Cruz Mountains. I started in the tasting room, but soon moved to the cellar. I loved the intellectual, physical and artistic aspects of winemaking.” Like his wines and his music, Jason Becker is approachable, well-rounded, balanced and complex. In his spare time, he brews his own beer and barbecues the meanest tri tip in all of Hollister, California. Jason is single with no pets and no plants. “One day I hope to own a plant.” |
