The Design Behind Wily Jack: The evocative label was created by Michael Schwab, one of America’s most celebrated graphic artists. Michael’s clients include Apple, Coke, Disney, Major League Baseball, Nike, Ralph Lauren and Wells Fargo. “When first called for this project, I was asked to create an alluring, wily character not unlike James Dean or a young Paul Newman. Hearing the assignment, I knew immediately that I was perfect for this job. My style of illustration is very bold and reductive. I’ve always believed in the ‘less is more’ theory.
